Nate Bomb
(colder than your favorite rapper)

Nate Bomb stands alone, not only a the top of his own mountain, but also has the ability, wit, and skill to climb other mountains to dethrone any opposition as well.  He is undeniably a wreckin' force to be reckoned with and is well respected and known for his talents throughout the county.  "I can just about guarantee that I'm colder than your favorite rapper," he says, jokingly with a serious tone.  "My content matter and style is unmatched and my versatility reaches far beyond dance and club songs.  I spit about all that life has to offer...the good...the bad...the ugly."

When asked which he prefers, the process of writing or the act of performing, he states that he equally likes them, but nothing gives him more of a better feeling when he gets inspired and scripts a new verse to where the word play matches up perfectly.  Perhaps that's why one of his favorite rappers is Mystikal, because of the energy in his words vibes throughout in his performances, on and off the tracks. "My style is sort of like a melting pot of all music, not just rap, but of all the music I listened to growing up."

Though Biggie and Tupac are no strangers to his car speakers, Nate Bomb maintains quite well in the present. 'Lyrical Love Letter' shows off a more subtle and softer side and range of this gifted lyricist. The southern tenacity and straightforward, directness of 'Gangsta' further reminds anyone that Nate Bombs character travels deep beneath the top layer of his hard life.  When asked about his penchant for wordplay, concepts, and content, he said, "he has a type of respect and passion for the craft that a lot in the mainstream don’t have. It's not just about the money...and a lot are throwing songs together just to make a buck."

Even though Mystikal is his all time favorite rapper, he also added that he would more likely like to work with Twista, the Chi-town rapper known for his speed, wordplay, and articulation.  "Our styles compliment each other.  It's obvious that he cares about what he has to say.  I can't stand being on a track where the verse has nothing to do with the hook."  Nate Bomb can reflect the intimate lives of any one of us; his range stretches us across socio-economic lines and age status.  He also added, "I don't want anyone to think I'm coming at them or picking on them...just be worried."  Just that quote alone exhibits his confidence and drive in his works.  This ambitious artist is definitely rising in the ranks, spending years sharpening his skill and perfecting his craft.  "Growing up in the projects was rough, but it also taught me how to appreciate life."
In Galveston County, Tx, there are many "rappers" throughout each city representing and claiming that what they have to say or what they stand for is what everyone should be listening to.  Honestly, from my personal experiences and from hearing a few of them, in my opinion, not many of them has what it takes, for what ever reason, to reach the masses.  For the most part, most of them just sound the same .
As it's once been written, we know the popular taste in music often changes from one decade to the next; blues gave way to funk and hip-hop derived from soul.  Yet, the versatility and range, from not only content and range, speaking intellectually on any subject matter, Nate Bomb is sure to stand the test of time, manipulating any trend in music to suit any style he calls his own.  He is the next artist on the up and coming.
